In a dismal flat in suburban London, shy, outcast, countryside-born Jac struggles with his new-found independence. No job, few friends and living on benefits, Jac refuses to give up his city dream. A series of events leads Jac down a road of misery and into the world of Amora. Jac drifts between this magical world and his own, struggling to distinguish which is real. As Jac searches to keep his independence in one world, a battle looms in the other.
